These Terms and Conditions set out the rules, responsibilities, and policies that apply when booking or purchasing training through SSTI. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

These Terms and Conditions govern all course orders and training bookings made via the SSTI website (“the Website”). By completing an order and selecting “I accept the Terms and Conditions”, you agree to be legally bound by the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

“SSTI” refers to Skills Share Training Institute. “Customer / You” refers to the individual or organisation placing an order. “Training” refers to any course, programme, workshop, assessment, or learning material offered by SSTI. “Order” refers to an online booking or purchase made via the Website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an order through the Website, you confirm that:

You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. You are authorised to make the purchase (for yourself or on behalf of an organisation). You agree to comply with all SSTI policies, procedures, and learner codes of conduct.

3. Course Bookings and Availability

All training is subject to availability and minimum enrolment numbers. SSTI reserves the right to reschedule or cancel training where necessary. In the event of cancellation by SSTI, customers will be offered either:

A full refund, or Transfer to an alternative training date.

4. Fees and Payment

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in full before training commences, unless otherwise agreed in writing. SSTI reserves the right to withhold access to training, certificates, or results where payment has not been received.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Customer Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds or credits may be subject to cancellation fees, depending on notice period. Non-attendance (“no-shows”) may result in forfeiture of fees.

5.2 Substitutions

Learner substitutions may be permitted, subject to prior written notice and course requirements.

6. Learner Responsibilities

All learners must:

Attend training as scheduled and comply with SSTI rules and instructions. Conduct themselves professionally and safely during training. Meet any prerequisite requirements communicated prior to the course.

SSTI reserves the right to remove learners for misconduct or safety breaches, without refund.

7. Certification and Assessment

Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of training and assessments. Certification timelines may vary depending on the course and accrediting body. SSTI is not responsible for delays caused by third-party accreditation authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

All training materials, content, manuals, and assessments remain the intellectual property of SSTI. Materials may not be copied, shared, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

SSTI will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from training attendance or website use. Training is provided for skills development purposes; SSTI does not guarantee employment or specific outcomes.

10. Health and Safety

Learners must comply with all health and safety requirements applicable to the training. Certain courses may involve physical or practical activities; participation is at the learner’s own risk, subject to applicable law.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

SSTI processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Personal data will be used for training administration, certification, and regulatory compliance.

12. Website Use

SSTI does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Website. Orders placed via the Website are subject to verification and acceptance by SSTI.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to South African courts.
